As up and coming fisheries professionals, we are the leaders of sustaining our finite aquatic resources. It is our responsibility to learn scientific information in order to effectively educate our future generations. Attending professional conferences allows us to engage in dialogue pertinent to current research. It is then necessary for us to interact with our community to develop its interest in, and understanding of, fisheries science.
